We work with businesses of all sizes โ€” from 5-person offices to companies with 300+ employees. We tend to be the best fit for small and mid-sized businesses (10โ€“200 employees) who want enterprise-quality IT without the overhead of a full internal team.

Support & Response Times
How fast do you respond to support requests?

Critical issues (system down, security breach) are responded to in under 15 minutes. High-priority issues within 1 hour. Standard requests within 4 business hours. Managed clients receive 24/7 coverage with these guaranteed response times.

Is support available 24/7?

Yes โ€” for managed IT clients, support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. For general inquiries and non-managed engagements, we respond within 1 business day.

Do you provide on-site support?

Yes. While most issues are resolved remotely (faster and more efficient), we provide on-site support throughout Pennsylvania, the Northeast, and beyond for clients who need it.

Are your support staff based in the U.S.?

Yes, always. Every engineer and support specialist on your account is U.S.-based. Our headquarters is in Erie, PA. We believe local accountability matters, especially when it comes to sensitive business data.

Pricing & Billing
How does your pricing work?

We don't publish fixed pricing because every business is different. After a free assessment, we build a custom proposal based on your team size, services needed, environment complexity, and any compliance requirements. Pricing is transparent and itemized โ€” no hidden fees.

How are invoices sent?

We send invoices electronically to your designated billing contact. Payment terms are Net 15 or Net 30 depending on your agreement. We do not auto-charge cards โ€” all payment happens via invoice.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. All Sentiva engagements are month-to-month. We don't believe in locking clients in. If you want to cancel, we just ask for 30 days notice for a smooth transition.

Are there setup or onboarding fees?

No. Onboarding, environment documentation, agent deployment, and initial setup are all included. You pay the agreed monthly rate โ€” that's it.

Security & Compliance
Can you help with HIPAA compliance?

Yes. We have significant experience helping healthcare organizations meet HIPAA requirements โ€” security risk assessments, policy development, access controls, audit log management, and staff training.

What happens if there's a security breach?

We have a documented incident response process. For managed clients, our team mobilizes immediately โ€” containing the incident, assessing damage, and working to restore normal operations.

How do you protect client data?

All client data is handled under strict confidentiality agreements. We use encrypted communication channels, least-privilege access, and MFA for all internal systems. We never share or sell client data.

Cloud & Technology
What cloud platforms do you support?

We are certified partners for Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, and we support Google Cloud Platform as well. We also manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.

Can you migrate us to the cloud?

Yes. Cloud migration is one of our most requested services. We handle the full process โ€” assessment, planning, migration, testing, and post-migration support โ€” with a goal of zero downtime.

We already have some IT systems. Can you work with what we have?

Absolutely. We assess your current environment first and build around what's already working. We're not here to replace everything โ€” just to make it better, more secure, and easier to manage.
